How to help the foodbank
We need donations of food and money to buy food and other essential items to give to people in need. We spend £1,500.00 + per month buying food, in addition to the food donated to us, in order to provide food parcels. We also welcome volunteers who have time to help us on a regular basis. Please see below for how to give food, money or your time.

Donations can be brought to the Foodbank on Wednesday or Saturday between 10.30am-12.30pm, or dropped into the Wells Vineyard donation bins at Waitrose, Santander or Morrisons in Wells.
See below for a map of our location.

How to donate money
Every penny donated to the Wells Vineyard Foodbank allows us to provide food parcels to those in need.
We spend around £2,000 every month on food to supplement donations in order to provide food and essential toiletries to people in and around Wells. There are several ways to donate.

Add to the Wells Vineyard Foodbank Gift Card at Wookey Hub café and shop. All funds on the Gift Card are used by Wookey Hub to buy groceries and other items at cost price, helping resources to stretch further.

How to volunteer
Wells Vineyard Foodbank relies on the time of unpaid volunteers to collect food donated at local supermarkets, put together food parcels and deliver food parcels to people who are unwell or otherwise unable to collect food in person. We also welcome support from people who may be interested in helping with administrative tasks.
